Have you ever wondered about the cross that Jesus died on? Do you really believe that Jesus died on the cross for you? You might ask, but why did He die for you on the cross? The only reason Jesus died for you on the cross is because He loves you. Yes, Jesus loves you. It is good to understand and believe that the cross is the love of Jesus. His suffering, His death on the cross was completed through His resurrection. His love for you through the cross is His resurrection, the forgiveness of sin, so that you be able to receive His grace, His peace and above all His salvation. Today’s question is: How is it possible to address God as ‘Father’? Now, according to the compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, we can invoke the ‘Father’ because the Son of God made man has revealed him to us and because his Spirit makes him known to us. The invocation, Father, lets us enter into his mystery with an ever new sense of wonder and awakens in us the desire to act as his children. When we pray the Lord’s Prayer, we are therefore aware of our being sons of the Father in the Son.
